Specsavers opens its 100th Australian audiology location

Specsavers Audiology is now available in 100 stores across Australia following the opening of the network’s newest location in Success, Western Australia.

With 21 Specsavers Audiology locations opened since the beginning of the year, Specsavers is accelerating its rollout plan as audiology professionals and customers embrace the Specsavers mix of clinical excellence and affordable hearing solutions.

Local WA audiologist Kathleen Stoop became Specsavers Audiology’s 58th joint venture partner (JVP) with the opening of the Success store. Kathleen is also providing audiological services in nearby Specsavers Spearwood.

The milestone opening follows an array of store launches across the country throughout April, including the first Tasmanian locations, bringing Specsavers Audiology’s coverage to seven states and territories.

Specsavers Audiology Executive Director and General Manager Darrel Magna said he was incredibly proud to reach the significant milestone but acknowledged there was still some work to be done.

“How appropriate that our 100th store was launched in Success because this milestone is truly a celebration of the success of Specsavers Audiology and our rapid development since we opened our first business in the latter part of 2017,” he said.

“This is an accomplishment that is the result of tenacity, enthusiasm, passion and commitment from all our partners and our support team members.

“Whilst we celebrate, the milestone comes as a reminder that we are still on a journey to meet our ultimate aim of providing fair access to leading hearing solutions for all Australians.

“I urge audiology professionals from across the country to join us in this goal and help us bring better access to life-changing audiological services everywhere.”

Kathleen said she was thrilled her store launch happened to be the 100th opening.

“It is rewarding in itself, the opportunity to join Specsavers, run my own business and make positive changes to my customers’ lives,” she said.

“To be the 100th store to launch in the network is just icing on the cake – a very exciting time to be joining the company.”
