SCC Online Series 2020 kicks off tomorrow, and the full list of speakers has been released, with topics covering diabetic retinopathy, cataract surgery, collaborative care, glaucoma, OCT, red eye, dry eye and more.
Across the next four months, the series, which is available wholly online through the Specsavers MyCPD portal delivers educational content tailored for clinical optometry practice – with a strong supply of therapeutics points available.
Each SCC Online Series event will be eligible for both Australian CPD Points and New Zealand CD and General Points.
The program comprises a series of live webinars, as well as extensive on-demand video and resources, fringe talks, two live panel discussions and two grand rounds sessions, designed to provide valuable take-home messages that can be implemented in the optometry consulting room.
Speakers and presenters including leading ophthalmologists and representatives from key organisations including Diabetes Australia, Glaucoma Australia, the Fred Hollows Foundation, Macula Disease Foundation and Vision Australia.
Specsavers optometrists will be able to access the SCC Online series directly through their Specsavers MyCPD portal.
