Following their success last year, the Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC8) will once again include a series of bonus ‘Fringe Talks’ that will take place in the event’s exhibition area.
SCC8 will be held from 7 to 8 September 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The main conference program will be delivered by leading ophthalmologists over two full days, with four sessions held on the Saturday followed by six sessions on the Sunday.
The exhibition will be open across both these days, with special guest speakers taking to the stage to discuss a variety of topics in a series of Fringe Talks. These short presentations will be delivered during breaks by key members of the eye health stakeholder community, providing additional education that complements the main program and offering bonus CPD / CD points.

More than 20 exhibitors will be featured at the SCC exhibition, giving delegates the opportunity to learn about the support Specsavers offers, the new technology available and the depth of Specsavers’ relationships with sponsors and other eye health stakeholders.
In addition to Specsavers Support Office teams, the exhibition will include representatives from: the Australian College of Optometry, Diabetes Australia, Eyes4Everest, Glaucoma Australia, Guide Dogs Victoria, MDFA, Oculo, RANZCO, and Vision Australia.
